Sharing my experience while searching for the right place to swap my OEM tires with winter tires for the season.

    1. Service King: Even though their website says they do maintenance work, when I talked to them they said I need to go to a tire shop.
    2. Mavis Tire: I have used the Mt. Hope location for years and have had a good experience with them. Unfortunately they said that they do not support Teslas.
    3. Dunn Tire: I went to the Pittsford location (3400 Monroe Ave). They do support Teslas and their quote to me was about $28 per tire (I only have one set of wheels).
    4. Mr. Tire: I went to the W Henrietta location. They support Teslas and their quote to me was $110 total.

As I was dropping off my car to Mr. Tire I heard back from the Tesla Henrietta service center so I decided to wait for a couple weeks when they can fit me in. Tesla Service Center's quote is $125 for labor plus taxes.

Jim (Henrietta_Service@tesla.com) shared that their service center is not showing up in the app due to lack of support staff. They said that email is still the best way to reach them (it might take them a day or two to respond). Hopefully they will be up and running fully in 2 weeks.

Additional services recommended by Tesla for my Model 3 were annual brake caliper cleaning ($195) and alignment ($150), following the maintenance schedule posted at https://www.tesla.com/support/car-maintenance.

What is the recommendation for the proper way to rotate tires on a model s?

For simple tire rotation and/or inspection I have successfully used Mr. Tire (2780 W Henrietta Rd) and Firestone (7374 Pittsford Palmyra Rd).  They know how to jack Tesla's without damaging the battery and they will also use pucks that you supply.  I would not use Dunn Tire at 576 Jefferson Rd as they damaged my rims upon unmounting my old tires.

Regarding the point made about lift pucks being OK to use in terms of shop policy:  As of last time I asked, the Costco service center in Rochester was still not set up to service Model 3 and was unwilling to use my pucks.

That was late last Fall, so I got my winter tires from Titan Motorworks.  Not sure if that has changed in the interim - if anyone knows please give us an update.

Right, as long as you can make sure their lift is compatible with Model 3's jack points. Last year, I went to a national tire chain store recommended by my service tech but unfortunately they weren't yet equipped for Model 3.

Many vendors online now carry the "hockey puck" adapters (or you can roll your own), as long as the shop policy allows them between the lift and the car.

I hope this makes sense. Let us know how it works out!

I have been going to Dunn Tires on Ridge Road West near Mount Read. They installed and mounted the (warranty replacement) tires on my MS, handled tire rotations (in order to maintain factory warranty) and also NYS annual inspection.

My guess is Service King can do it - https://serviceking.com/locations/service-king-west-henrietta

They are certified Tesla body repair shop. I called and they said they can do certain service jobs too!

I am about 4k miles on my M3. I still have a few months before first tire rotation, but I was just wondering if anyone has recommendations for tire rotation place around Rochester if I don't want to go through Tesla service?
