Tentsla, an outdoor brand that produces tents dedicated for Tesla cars, was founded by a group of four Elon Musk fans led by Adam Ryan in September 2021. Originally working together to sell outdoor gear, the team saw the growing popularity of electric vehicles and decided to create a product specifically for their idol. In December 2021, the team achieved the milestone of selecting the appropriate materials for the tents. They began design work and Tesla modelling in January 2022, and by April of that year, they had produced their first prototype. The tent underwent wind testing in August 2022, while rain and coldness tests were conducted in Melbourne, Australia, in September of the same year. In October 2022, Tentsla was given its first exposure. This was followed by mass exposure in December 2022. With these successful marketing efforts, mass production of the Tentsla tent began in February 2023. In March 2023, the team launched a Kickstarter campaign to further promote their product and gain support. The journey of Tentsla from a concept to a marketable product took just over a year, with each milestone marking a significant achievement in the development process. The team's dedication to creating a unique product for EV enthusiasts has resulted in a tent that is both functional and stylish, providing a new level of camping.
