Join us August 15, 2026, at Lebanon Valley Dragway to experience the thrill of electric acceleration on the track—one run at a time.
Join TOCNYS for Dragstrip Day at Lebanon Valley Dragway’s Open Test & Tune.
Experience electric acceleration on a prepared quarter-mile track—one run at a time. This is an open track day, not a private rental or competition. Arrive when it works for you, meet fellow members in the pits and make passes as track conditions and event flow allow.
Gates open at 8:00 AM. Racing begins at 9:00 AM and is scheduled to run until approximately 4:00 PM.
Drivers must register and complete technical inspection by 11:30 AM to race. If you arrive after technical inspection closes, you are welcome to attend as a spectator, but you will not be able to take your vehicle down the track.
❗️TOCNYS will be organizing a group meetup at the racing inspections area at 9:00 AM. If you are unable to join us then, you are welcome to arrive at your convenience. Please note that in order to be eligible to race, you must register and complete technical inspection for your vehicle by 11:30 AM.
Navigate to Lebanon Valley Dragway—not Lebanon Valley Speedway.
Address:
1746 U.S. Route 20
West Lebanon, NY 12195 (click for navigation)
The dragway and speedway share the same complex, so follow signs for Dragway, Racer Entry or Tech when you arrive. Drivers should use the Racer Entry / Tech gate and arrive before 11:30 AM to complete inspection. Spectators should follow directions from gate staff upon arrival.
If you are coming from Albany or the west, take I-90 East to Exit 11E, then continue on Route 20 East for approximately 11 miles. From Massachusetts or the east, take Route 22 North to Route 20, turn left onto Route 20 West and continue approximately 6 miles; the dragway will be on the right.
Do not rely on a search for “Lebanon Valley Speedway” alone. It may route you to the speedway side of the property rather than the dragway entrance.
Admission is paid directly to Lebanon Valley Dragway at the gate.
Bring cash. Lebanon Valley Dragway lists the front gate as cash-only, with ATMs available on-site.
TOCNYS does not collect admission, operate the event or guarantee a number of runs.
Lebanon Valley Dragway is an NHRA participating track. Every vehicle must pass NHRA technical inspection before going down the track, and each driver must complete the track’s tech card and follow all instructions from track officials.
⚠️ Most Tesla models are likely to require a helmet. Lebanon Valley requires a Snell 2015-or-newer helmet for vehicles running 13.99 seconds or quicker in the quarter-mile. This includes most Model S, Model X, Model 3 Long Range and Performance, Model Y, Cybertruck AWD and Cyberbeast vehicles.
Helmet rentals may be available from the tower office/novelty area. Availability is limited, so bring your own approved helmet if possible.
Drivers must also wear:
No shorts, tank tops, sandals or flip-flops while racing. Additional equipment requirements may apply based on your vehicle and performance. The track’s tech inspectors make the final determination.
Please review Lebanon Valley Dragway’s current schedule, tech information and racing rules and fees before arriving.
Drag racing involves inherent risk. Technical inspection, track preparation and event procedures are designed to support safer participation, but they cannot eliminate the possibility of injury, death, vehicle damage or property damage.
By attending or participating, you agree to follow all Lebanon Valley Dragway, NHRA and event-official instructions; complete any required waivers and releases; and accept responsibility for your vehicle, equipment, driving and guests.
TOCNYS is organizing a community meetup only. TOCNYS is not the track operator, event promoter, driving instructor or insurer. Nothing in this event description replaces the rules, waivers or decisions of Lebanon Valley Dragway or NHRA officials.
